Amanda Butcher served in the Royal Air Force for 17 years before retiring as a Wing Commander in 1996. She went on to join the Royal Air Force Benevolent Enterprises as Deputy Director of the Royal International Air Tattoo. She has been Chief Executive of the Jubilee Sailing Trust since November 2003. She lives in Charlton, Nr Malmesbury and Southampton with her partner Simon. In her spare time she is a Guide Leader.
