Safety Forum: Legal Issues in an E-World


We will discuss legal issues arising out of the availability and use of the internet , including marketing, e-signatures to applications and releases, student networking and other communications before, during and after the program, responding to a serious incident, and other issues.

Reb Gregg is a practicing attorney in Houston, Texas, specializing in issues of outdoor adventure and education law. He serves on the Boards of Directors of The Student Conservation Association (SCA) and Friends of Big Bend National Park, and on the Wilderness Risk Managers Committee and the Accreditation Council of the Association for Experiential Education. He is General Counsel for the Association for Challenge Course Technology.  Reb consults regularly with and serves on the Risk Management committees of a number of programs, including summer camps, secondary school and college outdoor and study abroad programs, challenge courses and outfitters.
