2013 Sail Training Awards Nominations Now Open!

Last week, Bert and Lori were in Chestertown, Maryland, homeport to Sultana, for our Atlantic regional meeting.   Representatives from Sultana Projects were on the agenda for the meeting so attendees heard about their educational programs and several people I have spoken to since were blown away by what they were doing  in Chestertown.

Which got us thinking – what other incredible programs are out there? What programs and ships are doing a stellar job and deserve to be recognized at the Sail Training Awards?

The nomination process is super easy! All it takes is an email explaining why the program deserves an award (supporting letters or a personal story always helps)  All emails should be sent to Lori@tallshipsamerica.org. Deadline for submissions is December 1.

A few things to keep in mind: The program that you nominate must take place on a United States Coast Guard certified (or national equivalent) Tall Ships America member vessel to be considered. See more criteria and the different awards here.

Not registered for the conference yet? Early Bird rates are happening now!
